It's already been posted, but El Horizonte and Tragic Delicate got through on thursday night. Expect microphone carnage at the Globe final.

What I cant work out is how did two winners from three heats result in a seven band final? Must have been three winners on thursday night huh? Microphone carnage may not be on the cards (or very often anymore) Duceman.

i thought those were the three best performances of the evening but not necessarily in that order.
beside the point i rated a very close 4th, they're fast becoming a very tidy band indeed.
now go kick melbourne's ass elwhoros!!!

yeah that was the best quality final i have seen in ages, i'll bet getting off my fat ass to see shows by most of those bands soon. Voyager were particularly entertaining, i had tears in my eyes, I'm just not sure what of, joy or laughter. Best 20 minutes ever.
I gotta get out more.

Yep, Voyager were the obvious winners of the night, but apparently public opinion and crowd response means nothing in the eyes of the narrow minded judges.
Once again pedestrian shithouse corporate rock has taken out the title in yet another biased band competition.
Apparently ignorance is bliss.. well there are a few people that need the smile knocked off their faces.

Crowd response SHOULD count for exactly s.f.a. Any band can get 30 of their mates along to make a lot of noise, regardless of how good they are. I won't say anything about the guy shouting out 'VOYAGER' up the front during EH's set.
Having said that, Voyager were excellent, but your description of EH as 'pedestrian shithouse corporate rock' reeks of sour grapes. Give credit where credit is due.
